Here, you can give your favorite pokemon a moveset and have others rate it, as well as say why it's your favorite. Try to make it a good moveset. After all, it is your favorite Pokemon!
I'll begin with my own Favorite, Metagross
:metagross: Metagross, Choice Band Meteor Mash Rock Slide Earthquake Sludge Bomb
This set allows for a very strong attaacker, and Metagross's attack is higher than it's Special attack by a good deal.
As for why I like this creature so much, well, it's because of it's unique abilities that it has as a pokemon. It can fly through magnetic power in it's veins, and thinks faster than any supercomputer. It would be really useful as a vehicle, and is both intelligent and strong, making it a great partner in battle.

I like it. I think if i use metagross in my team, I'll be sure to use that moveset. 10/10
:mew: mew Metronome/Anceint Power Megapunch Thunderbolt/Theif Psychic
I like mew the most, 'cause it's so cute! Anyways, I've put two choices for the first attack, because I find that it would be good with either and some people don't like metronome/anceint power. I put two options for the third attack, because I find both useful, and theif because you can defeat other psychics with it.

10/10 I would use mew if I could get a hold of one lol
:Tyranitar: Tyranitar Thunder Earthquake Flamethrower Sludge Bomb
The reason why i chose Tyranitar is becuase of the different range of moves it can learn. Tyranitar being the rock pokemon it is makes it easy to kill with water/grass pokemon so you need a Thunder to keep the Waters away and Flamethrower for the grass. Earthquake which is good against most electric types and good agaist other Rock Pokemon. Sludge Bomb for Psychic pokemon. Thunder for Birds as well. Flamethrower can also be used agaist Ice Pokemon which did Save me a couple of times in the Elite 4
I think Tyranitar can be used in any battle if you have the right moves

Interesting Tyranitar, although I'd prefer a Dragon Dancing Tyranitar to it. (And despite that, I've never used it...how ironic. ) That helps it gain speed and attack, although Dragon Dance on a Tyranitar isn't easy to get.

:ludicolo: Ludicolo- Leftovers Ability- Rain Dish Rain Dance Giga Drain Toxic Return/Water Pulse/Ice Beam
ludicolo may not be my favorite pokemon, but i love rain-dancing ludicolo's! this one's my favorite. rain dish, leftovers, and giga drain all restore hp. while toxic can do alot of damage while ludicolo keeps recovering, ludicolo can use giga drain or one of the three choice attacking moves (return water pulse ice beam) for a pretty easy kill.

I like Explosion on CB-Metagross.
Tyranitar: You don't need Thunder for waters. You need to OHKO after setting up with Dragon Dance. Or you need to run from them. Btw, Thunderbolt > Thunder. Like if it's Boah, if you're lucky you might have a sub up, and then you can try to 2HKO the water-thingie, unless of course it's something like Milotic.
My favorite pokemon is Arcanine.
Arcanine @ Choice Band - Return - HP Fighting - Extremespeed - Fire Blast
You need Fire Blast. If you don't like Fire Blast's accuracy, don't use Arcy, cause Flamethrower is not enough. Even though it's my favorite mon, it can not always be used well. There's also standard Arcy as the SkarmBliss counter:
Arcanine @ Leftovers - HP Fighting - Flamethrower/Fire Blast - Howl - Extremespeed
Actually, mine is pretty similar to the standard. But Choice Band makes a hell of a difference.

Gah! That's one move I never like seeing on my favorites, considering that getting rid of a Pokemon like that isn't something I find respectful, and- *rants on and on about why not to use Explosion on your own favorite* Anyways, nice Arcanine movesets. I've been thinking of using an Arcanine for one of my teams. Would you suggest it? Oh, and I have another favorite set: :gardevior: Gardevior, ? (Not sure on the item...) Psychic Calm Mind ThunderBolt / Hidden Power Dark Ice Punch / Fire Punch

You said that if you use a Tyranitar it would be best to run from water pokemon, that is unless you are in a Trainer battle then you would have no choise but to use thunder-thunderbolt

He meant that you should switch Tyranitar out in trainer battles as well. Tyranitar just can't use thunderbolt that well anyways. It does much better in Attack than in Special Attack now.

Good idea: mine is: Rayquaza Item: Salac Berry Extremespeed Dragon Claw Ice Beam Earthquake I chose this moveset, because it takes advantage of Rayquaza's movepool!

Snorlax Item: Leftovers Hyper Beam Body Slam Counter Belly Drum This is a major sweeper, just use belly drum on the first turn and with the massive amount of HP that Snorlax has you can just go on attacking with preferably Body Slam, and as a bonus Leftovers will gradually (and usually) restore Snorlax's HP back to full if he is successful in his sweeping.
